When is check-in?
Check-in is every day from 15:00.
When is check-out?
Check-out on weekdays is by 11:00 and on weekends by 12:00.
Do you offer late check-out?
If you need to check out later, please contact reception.
How does in-room cleaning work?
Cleaning and fresh towels can be ordered via the QR code available at check-in. You can also let the reception know directly.
When and where is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in Floridaodden Bistro & Bar on the 5th floor of the hotel (same floor as reception). Monday-Friday from 07:00 to 09:30. Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 10:00.

Does the hotel have a fitness room?
Yes, we have a large training room on the 3rd floor with various equipment, dumbbells and mats.
Are pets allowed in the room?
Dogs are allowed in some of our room types for an additional fee.
Is there wifi in the room?
Yes, with us you always have free internet. There is no code for logging in.
Does the hotel offer car parking?
Yes, there is a large car park at the entrance to the hotel. Parking is free for hotel guests.
I have special needs, what do I do?
We go to great lengths to accommodate guests with special needs, whatever they may be. Contact reception directly and we'll help you.
Are there electric kettles and hairdryers in the rooms?
Yes, each room has a kettle and hairdryer.

Yes, we offer wake-up calls. Please contact reception directly and we will arrange it.
Does the hotel room have a minibar?
No, the hotel does not have a minibar. But at reception you'll find a small selection of basic toiletries, as well as snacks such as nuts, crisps and chocolate. We also have a good selection of cold drinks.
About the hotel
Where is Farsund Fjordhotell and how do I get there?
Farsund Fjordhotell is located in Lundevågen in Farsund. The hotel is easily accessible by car via the E39 and is well signposted to the city centre. The nearest airport is Kristiansand Airport Kjevik, approximately 1.5 hours away by car.
What is the cost of an extra bed in the room?
We have our own triple rooms with double bed and extra bed.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
No, smoking is prohibited inside the hotel. However, there is a designated smoking area outdoors.
Where is the nearest emergency exit?
An escape plan showing the nearest emergency exit is available in every room. Familiarise yourself with this.
What do I do if the fire alarm goes off?
In the event of a fire alarm, leave the room, use the nearest emergency exit out of the hotel and meet at the roundabout at the main entrance to the hotel. Here you should report to the hotel's security staff.
Does the hotel offer free parking?
Yes, we offer free parking to all our guests.
Is the reception always manned?
Yes, we have a 24-hour reception. Feel free to contact us if we can help you with anything.
Can you help with washing clothes?
Of course we do! If you would like to wash your clothes, please contact reception for a form. The clean clothes will be delivered back to your room within 48 hours.
Are there irons and ironing boards in the rooms?
No, but we have irons and ironing boards available for loan on the 3rd floor (in the disabled toilet).
How far is it to walk to Farsund city centre?
Farsund Fjordhotell is within walking distance of the town, around two kilometres away. Here you'll find cosy little shops, a pharmacy, ATM, grocery store, liquor store etc.
Does the hotel have a restaurant and what kind of food is served?
The hotel's restaurant, Floridaodden Bisto & Bar, has panoramic views of the fjord and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu varies according to the season, with a focus on fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
What kind of accommodation does Farsund Fjordhotell offer?
We offer standard single rooms, standard double rooms, triple rooms and rooms with four beds. The rooms are 27 square metres and have a spacious balcony with sea views. Breakfast is included. We also offer half-board accommodation (breakfast and dinner).
What can you do in Farsund and the surrounding area?
Farsund offers unique nature experiences and an exciting history. Experience Lista lighthouse, walk along the coastal paths, try your luck at fishing, enjoy beach life or take a sauna at Farsund Badehus. The town's charming centre with shops and cafés is also well worth a visit.

What types of parties can we celebrate with you?
We cater for all types of private celebrations - from confirmations, christenings and anniversaries to name days and family reunions. Whatever the occasion, we create a setting that suits your needs and wishes.
How many guests can you accommodate?
We have flexible premises that can be customised to suit the size of your company. Parketten is suitable for larger events, with space for many guests and the option of dividing into groups. The Florida is well suited to smaller and medium-sized celebrations, with great views and access to a private terrace.
Can we customise the menu?
Yes! Our kitchen offers various corporate menus that can be tailored to your preferences. We also cater for allergies and special dietary requirements - just let us know well in advance and we'll arrange it.
Can you help with decorations?
We set the tables in style and can help with decorations by arrangement. If you'd like flowers or other extras, we can arrange this at an additional cost.
Do you have technical equipment for use during the company?
Yes, we offer both a sound system and a projector if you want to show pictures, films or have a speaker with a microphone. This is agreed in advance so that everything is ready for the celebration.
Weddings
Can we bring our own wedding cake?
Yes! Both you and your guests are welcome to bring your own cakes. We'll store them in the fridge and bring them out at the agreed time. The price includes coffee and tableware for cake serving. Remember to label the cakes with the name of the company and make sure they are fully decorated. Any leftovers can be collected the next day.
How do we get started with planning?
It's simple! Contact us for a no-obligation chat. We can help you with everything from menu selection and decoration to logistics and accommodation.
Is it possible to sample the menu in advance?
Absolutely. We offer menu tasting so that you can be sure that everything tastes as desired. We'll arrange a time together and you'll get to taste your chosen menu.
Do you offer customised menus and consideration for allergies?
Yes, we have several wedding menus that can be customised according to taste, needs and season. Please notify us of any allergies no later than one week before the wedding and the menu will be customised accordingly. All allergens are clearly labelled.
What is included in the table setting?
White tablecloths, napkins and tea light holders included in the wedding package.
Can we organise a "get together" the day before the wedding?
Yes! We have several cosy areas that are ideal for an informal gathering before the big day. Please contact us for price and availability.
Who is responsible for decorating the venue?
If the venue is free the night before, you can decorate it yourself. If it's in use, you supply the decorations and place cards (in order of table layout), and we'll take care of the rest when we set the tables. We also have vases on loan by arrangement.
What music options do we have for the party?
You can play your own playlist via an auxiliary connection. We can also help you if you want to hire live music.
What happens to gifts and decorations after the party?
We can store cakes, decorations and gifts until the next day. The cakes are refrigerated, while gifts and decorations must be packed in boxes at the end of the party. Storage is at your own risk and must be collected by appointment.
Is it possible to stay overnight at the hotel?
Yes, we offer favourable prices on accommodation for wedding guests. This makes it easy for guests to enjoy the party to the full and wake up to views of the fjord the next day.

What does the Christmas buffet include?
Our Christmas buffet offers a varied selection of traditional Christmas dishes with both hot and cold options. You'll find everything from ribs, pinnekjøtt and medisterkaker to herring, smoked salmon, cheese board and tempting desserts. Of course, we cater for allergies and special needs - just let us know in advance!
Can we book an overnight Christmas party?
Yes, we offer favourable Christmas party packages that include both food and accommodation. This makes it easy and comfortable for you to enjoy the evening to the full - and wake up to a delicious breakfast overlooking the fjord.
Is it possible to reserve a seat for a larger group?
Absolutely! We welcome both small and large groups, and are happy to help with table placement, group set-up and any special requests. Early booking is recommended, as our Christmas tables are very popular.
What does the bar offer during the Christmas party?
Our bar is open all evening and has a good selection of wine, beer, drinks and non-alcoholic options. It is adjacent to the restaurant and is a natural place to continue the evening after dinner.
Can we get help with entertainment or music?
On our scheduled Christmas party dates, we always have live music.
